I followed the instructions, so I didn't know why I got an "unreadable disc" error.
After a lot of searching Google for a solution, I found one.
For using saves on the backwards compatibility, it would be great if you could use usbs to transfer saves from the 360 to the one so you have more data space for 360 saves or make the cloud storage bigger than 512mb as I feel that, that's too small especially if you're going to play a lot of 360 games Our newest Feature Area forum, Clubs & LFG, is now live!

Check with your service provider, but you might be able to make your phone a mobile hotspot, then connect your xbox wirelessly (via wifi) to that.

If you want to keep your friend as a friend I would NOT recommend he go there. You would end up with an updated version of Minecraft that is associated with their XBox, not yours, and you would have to do a license transfer in order for you to play anything other than tutorial mode on your XBox, which, 2 things, would 1: disable your friends copy of Minecraft, and 2: Require an internet connection to perform anyway, which you don't have.
It would be much easier to carry your console over to a friend's house and briefly barrow their internet connection to update your version of Minecraft.
